Kevin is the only non-incumbent Alaska State Senate candidate to receive highest possible rating.
State Senate Candidate Kevin Kastner received an “AQ” rating from the National Rifle Association (NRA). This is the highest rating given by the organization to a non-incumbent candidate.
As a NRA member and gun owner, the rating is a reflection of his strong support for the 2nd amendment and commitment to protecting the rights of Alaska’s law-abiding gun owners.
“As a gun owner with defensive pistol training, previous concealed carry permit holder and hunter, I believe it’s important to protect the rights granted to Americans in the 2nd amendment. Whether it’s a sportsman or someone who keeps a weapon at home for self-defense; I’m equally committed to the rights of all law-abiding gun owners.”
The National Rifle Association is America’s foremost defender of Second Amendment rights. Since its inception in 1871, it has also been the premier firearms education organization in the world.
